Jamie Lidell video for 'Big Love' features dance troupe
Jamie Lidell’s latest self-titled album is a sexpot of electro-funk tunes, and nothing is more funky than his new single ‘Big Love’, sounding like it came straight out of the Flashdance soundtrack. It’s only fitting that the flavour of its accompanying video is dance.
Jamie Lidell jives around the youth-stomping grounds of Cincinatti, Ohio for the clip which features the city’s own Q-Kidz Dance Team showing off their synchronized choreography in shimmery outfits in different locations across the city.
“The Q-Kidz are the bomb,” Lidell spoke very fondly of the dance collective. “They destroy all cynicism with their sheer joy and passion and leave a trail of heart-warming smiles behind them wherever they go. It’s pretty rare these days to feel a genuine life rush but these girls with all their raw passion, discipline and exuberant joy just blew us all away.”
