LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy is suing his DFA Records co-founder, Tim Goldsworthy, $93,899 for financial misconduct.
According to DNAinfo.com, the lawsuit refers to failure to “perform services he was paid for, owing outstanding loans, improperly using the company credit card and making unauthorized withdrawals from its bank accounts”,
The report also claims that ”attempts to amicably resolve this matter were rebuffed” by Goldsworthy.
Murphy and Goldsworthy founded the label back in 2001 with Jonathan Galkin, before Goldsworthy left the company in 2010. Galkin has previously said that Goldworthy moved back to the UK three years ago without telling the pair.
