James Murphy remixes David Bowie's 'Love Is Lost'
As previously reported, 2013 comeback king David Bowie is prepping an expanded version of The Next Day for release on 5 November, which includes a remix by LCD Soundsystem man James Murphy. Now you can listen to that very reworking, after it aired on BBC Radio 6 Music earlier this morning.
The remix is of ‘Love Is Lost’ premiered on Shaun Keaveny’s breakfast show, with Murphy calling in to talk to the host. It’ll be included in The Next Day Extra, which stretches to a three-disc deluxe affair.
“I try not to seek out to meet my heroes,” Murphy told the presenter. “I would not want David Bowie to have to deal with my errorenous interpretations of David Bowie.”
