James Murphy gives music lecture & performs DFA anniversary DJ Set

Considering he said he was “quitting music” a few years back, James Murphy really has been grabbing the headlines lately.
First the LCD Soundsystem man revealed that he’s designing an actual soundsystem, then he opened up about producing Arcade Fire’s new record, now here’s a lecture for Red Bull Music Academy he recently held, as well as a DJ set to celebrate 12 years of DFA Records.
Murphy took questions, gave answers, told anecdotes and generally shared advice in the 90 minute talk. That’s available to watch here, along with the DJ slot at DFA party thrown in Brooklyn last weekend below:
