James Blake gives away belated BBC Essential Mix as free download
Despite it being over two years old, dub boy-wonder James Blake has thought it was “better late than never” to offer up his 2011 BBC Essential Mix online.
Given away as a free download, as well as streaming via his label’s Soundcloud, the mix features the likes of D’Angelo, Arthur Russell, Stevie Wonder and of course, Blake himself. It was also recorded on “2 X Technics 1210′s 2 CDJs and a mixer”, if you’re into that kinda thing.
