James Blake, Disclosure, Daft Punk, Four Tet & more nominated for Music Producers Guild awards
The nominees for the 2014 Music Producer Guild awards have been revealing, with the likes of James Blake, Daft Punk, Disclosure and Four Tet set to battle it out for the coveted accolades.
Daft Punk see themselves up against Bowie producer Tony Visconti and Yeezus-helmer Rick Rubin for “International Producer of the Year”, while Disclosure stand a chance of winning “Breakthrough Producer of the Year”.
Elsewhere, Four Tet’s Kieran Hebden and MJ Cole are both listed for “Remixer of the Year”, James Blake, Foals and Laura Marling are all up for “UK Album of the Year”, while Adele, Everything Everything and Foals again are nominated for “UK Single Song Release of the Year”.
The ceremony will be held in London on 13 February, heralding excellence in music production.
