Jagwar Ma share new single "O B 1" from upcoming second record Every Now & Then

Jagwar Ma have announce second record Every Now & Then and shared brand new single "O B 1".

Annie Mac gave the tune its debut last night on BBC Radio 1 - it's the first taste of the Australian outfit's eagerly anticipated sophomore LP.

The band's Jono Ma worked with Hans Lo on the accompanying video for "O B 1", with Ma producing the track, Ewan Pearson mixing, and Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint and James Ford "lending their ears and sticks to the drums".

Ma says of the song: "After saving all my pennies to get my hands on an old Oberheim synthesizer, the very first sequence I programmed on it became the vertebrae for 'O B 1'. Designed for nocturnal road trips and foraging through forests for morning fresh champignons.”

The song, adds Jagwar Ma's Gabriel Winterfield, is “about moving through the motions of life under the influence of lost love, the fear of letting go of the past when not having anything set in place in the future to hold on to"

Every Now & Then is out this autumn via Marathon/Mom + Pop/Future Classic. It follows 2013 debut Howlin.
