Jade Bird unveils new single "Houdini"
Jade Bird is back with new track "Houdini" - her second release of the year.
"Houdini" follows on from Bird's "Headstart" single that landed earlier this month, and arrives as a second taster of her sophomore album due for release next year.
The new song was recorded at RCA studios with producer Dave Cobb (John Prine, Lady Gaga).
Bird says of the new song, "I’ve loved the word/concept for a really long time. All of a sudden, it seemed to be the perfect metaphor for the figures who had left my life in the past. I had no control or choice on their appearances and disappearances - sort of like the man himself."
Her forthcoming second album will follow on from last year's self-titled debut LP.
