Jack White's Third Man Records announce Paramount Records boxset
Jack White’s ever-prolific Third Man Records have announced yet another new project, an aural anthology of seminal jazz and blues label Paramount Records.
The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records 1917-1932 will collect the best of the imprint’s back-catalogue, chronicling its hey day and – as the title hints – its subsequent decline.
The collection will come out in two parts, stretching across six vinyl LPs and also including a hardback and softback book and over 800 unreleased tracks on a USB. It’ll be housed in a rather swanky looking wooden briefcase.
The first instalment arrives on 29 October, with the second coming in November. Check out what it will look like below, via FACT:
