Jack White encourages fans to exchange turkey for vinyl to feed the homeless this Thanksgiving
There’s a lot of things you could say about Jack White and being the charitable sort is definitely one of them.
The former White Stripes man has launched the Great Third Man Turkey Drive, a project that aims to help the Nashville Rescue Mission in acquiring 1000 turkeys to feed the homeless this Thanksgiving. To do so, he’s offering up vinyl from his very own Third Man Records as a trade.
“Starting today and lasting through Tuesday November 26th, every person who brings a turkey or needed items equal to the cost of a turkey to Third Man will receive a free 7″ of their choice,” a press release reads. Donors will also get their photo put up on Third Man’s Hall of Fame.
