Jacco Gardner announces new record with psychedelic instrumental "Levania"
Psych wizard Jacco Gardner returns after three years with news of his Somnium record, and shares lead single "Levania".
"Levania" takes its name from Johannes Kepler's 1608 sci-fi novel, and is the first single since his 2015 Hypnophobia record.
The psychedelic instrumental is the first single to be shared from Gardner's forthcoming Somnium album dropping later this month.
Speaking about the new record, Gardner explains, "Somnium could be seen as a tribute to the album, a dying format in today’s fast-paced society. It can often be difficult to enjoy a meaningful uninterrupted moment. This album is where true mystery and wonder is waiting to be discovered.”
Alongside the single Gardner has shared a nine-minute documentary on the themes and instrumentals behind his forthcoming album.
