Ja Ja Ja club night: ARY's Norwegian photo diary
The final Ja Ja Ja club night before a summer break takes place at The Lexington next Thursday, 28 April . Ahead of her appearance there, Norway's sensational ARY guides us through her life in pictorial form.
The hit of Sørveiv 2015, ARY only played outside of Norway for the first time recently but she is destined for great things. You can listen to the brilliant "Higher" before checking out her photos below.
This is the view from my bed. I love watching the sunrise colour my curtains.
This is Carl Louis, The Pav aka. Lovespeake and me after a show this fall. I love playing with these boys, we always have so much fun on tour!
This is me and my friend Nina. I was so lucky to be a part of her exhibition a little while ago. She invited artists from all over and everyone came to contribute to this big event. She is amazing.
This one is from my first gig in another country other than Norway. It was amazing playing Eurosonic, though I was quite nervous.
This is Fay [Wildhagen, Swedish singer] from our first rehearsal. We struggled to carry her equipment from the train to Tanken (our studio), so when we found a cart we were so relieved.
I make juice almost every morning. I don’t know what I would do without my juicer. Nowadays I use green vegetables and pineapple.
This is Sebastian, also called Coucheron. He is an amazing artist and producer and I’ve spent the last week in studio with him. I am so excited to finish our project!
This is Fay and me after playing an amazing gig this weekend. We were really happy even though you can’t see it in the picture.
This is my manager. His name is Martin. He is really badass and really nice at the same time, which I find rare.
And last but not least, I found a policeman on a container the other day. I thought it looked so poetic so I took a picture.
