Ja Ja Ja announces February lineup: Jennie Abrahamson, Psyence Fiction and Mont Oliver set to play
Scandinavian sound showcase Ja Ja Ja has announced its February lineup: Jennie Abrahmson, Psyence Fiction and Mont Oliver.
Abrahamson, who's just got off touring with Peter Gabriel, is a sensational alt. pop force. Likened to Kate Bush for her theatric storytelling and impressive soundscapes, Abrahamson will surely see the accolades grow as she drops debut LP Gemini Gemini this Spring.
Psyence Fiction, an Americana outfit hailing from Norway, began life as the solo brainchild of Lofoten-born Aleksander Johansen, soon swelling into a five-piece making a Kozelek-twanged melange of baritone darkness and sublimely constructed paeans.
Danish electro-pop threesome Mont Oliver are fast becoming firm favourites here at Best Fit, with their innate knack for melding grand hip-hop statements with fizzing synth hooks, and you can stream their EP through us here - you can also read their Track by Track guide.
Ja Ja Ja regulars can become members to get discounted tickets and other Nordic benefits by signing up here. Tickets are £7 in advance (£5 for Ja Ja Ja members), on sale now from here.
The February instalment of Ja Ja Ja will take place at The Lexington on 19 February.
