Pitchfork are reporting that J. Tillman has left Fleet Foxes.
In a post on his blog, the drummer states that tonight’s show in Tokyo is his “last show with the Foxes”, signing off “sorry if I was distant and obtuse if we ever met. Have fun.”
Tillman joined Fleet Foxes in 2008, two years after their formation, and has had an acclaimed solo career alongside the band.
