J Hus pleads not guilty after knife possession charge
The Mobo-winning rapper J Hus has pleaded not guilty in court today (20 July) after being charged with knife possession.
Last month saw the Common Sense musician arrested after police stopped and searched his vehicle in Stratford to find J Hus carrying a lock knife in a public place.
The Guardian reports that today at his Snaresbrook crown court hearing he denied the knife possession charge, and was released on bail.
His arrest caused conflict with his live performances, leading to the rapper apologising on socials for having to cancel shows.

His set at London's Wireless festival was filled in by fellow grime rappers Krept & Konan.
Renowned for singles "Bouff Daddy", "Did You See" and more recentlty "Dark Vader", J Hus has had masses of support from fans and fellow musicians, including the likes of Stormzy and Lethal Bizzle.
