J. Cole to reportedly play for Rwandan basketball team in Basketball Africa League
Although J. Cole's new album The Off-Season is just days away from release, the rapper has reportedly signed with the Rwanda Patriots Basketball Club.
After delivering a first taster of The Off-Season last week in the form of new song "i n t e r l u d e" last week and announcing the release of his Applying Pressure documentary, J. Cole has apparently signed to play with the Rwandan national basketball team.
ESPN's Marc J. Spears revealed on Twitter this afternoon (10 May) that Cole is currently completing a four-day quarantine and is "expected to play for Rwanda Patriots BBC" in the Basketball Africa League, potentially as soon as Sunday (16 May).
Spears added in his tweet that the rapper's "signing is expected to be official Thursday."
