J. Cole freestyles over classic Soul Of Mischief and Mike Jones beats for L.A. Leakers
Ahead of his new album The Off-Season dropping tomorrow (14 May), J. Cole has delivered an impressive freestyle over classic beats by Soul Of Mischief and Mike Jones for Power 106's L.A. Leakers.
After delivering a first taster of The Off-Season album last week in the form of new song "i n t e r l u d e" and his Applying Pressure documentary, J. Cole has joined Power 106's L.A. Leakers crew to deliver a freestyle over Souls Of Mischief's "93 Til Infinity" and Mike Jones' Still Tippin" beats.
It marks Cole's first public freestyle in quite a while, and he even expresses how much energy it took to do those after, by saying, "I forgot what them bitches felt like, I ain't gonna lie."
The Off-Season will follow Cole's 2018 album KOD.
This weekend the rapper is expected to play for the Rwanda Patriots Basketball Club in the Basketball Africa League.
