It looks like Simon Gallup has rejoined The Cure
After announcing he was "no longer a member" of The Cure back in August, bassist Simon Gallup has revealed via Facebook that he's back in the band.
In August, Gallup announced on Facebook: "With a slightly heavy heart I am no longer a member of The Cure ! Good luck to them all ..." According to Variety, the bassist responded to a comment asking if it was to do with his health, writing, "I’m ok… just got fed up of betrayal."
The Cure never commented on Gallup's departure, and just as well they didn't as according to Gallup, he's not rejoined The Cure. One fan wrote on his Facebook: "Is Simon still a member of The Cure?", leading Gallup to respond, "Yes I am."
