It looks like Rihanna and Spotify are up to something
It looks as if Rihanna and Spotify are working together, which might mean Rihanna's new music is just around the corner.
It's been a long wait for R9. Rihanna released her previous album ANTI in 2016, and throughout 2019, there's been small updates from various people.
Last month, Rihanna revealed that she would be heading into the studio this month to work on the record. She told Sarah Paulson, "It really does suck that it can’t just come out, because I’m working on a really fun one right now. I’m really happy with a lot of the material we have so far, but I am not going to put it out until it’s complete. It makes no sense to rush it, but I want it out. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m like, "Even if I don’t have the time to shoot videos, I’m going to put an album out.""
It seems as if Spotify and Rihanna have something cooking beneath the surface, as fans noticed Rihanna startd following Spotify on Instagram

It's not clear whether Spotify are just excited that Rihanna follows them or whether they are preparing to release Rihanna's new material exclusively.
