It looks like Ed Sheeran is getting ready to return with new music
After becoming the new Ipswich Town FC shirt sponsor, Ed Sheeran has hinted that he's getting ready to return with some new music.
Sheeran hasn't released new music since last December's "Afterglow", but today (17 May) he's revealed that "Somethings cookin’" with a picture of him and his guitar, hinting that new music is likely on the way.

He's yet to follow up his 2019 No.6 Collaborations Project, and whatever's he's "cookin'" up might be something related to becoming the new shirt sponsor for Ipswich Town FC's men's and women's first teams in the 2021/22 season earlier this month.
The new Ipswich Town shirt will feature the titles of his albums - +, X and ÷ - as well as two other symbols, = and -. When asked about the logo on the shirt and what it means, Sheeran said, "All will be revealed in time."
