It looks like Drake is releasing Certified Lover Boy next week
It appears that Drake will be releasing his long-awaited Certified Lover Boy album next Friday (3 September).
After revealing at the start of the month that his new album was "cooked" and "on the way", Drake has "hacked" ESPN's SportsCenter by broadcasting a glitchy clip that features a banner that reads: "CLB September 3".

Certified Lover Boy, Drake's follow-up to 2018's Scorpion, was originally due for release in January, but Drake delayed the release so he could focus on recovering from surgery.
Although the album has been delayed for months, he did deliver Scary Hours 2 EP in March, and has since collaborated with Smiley, Brent Faiyaz, Migos and more.
It's possible that Drake could be going up against Kanye West's Donda next Friday, as the Apple Music pre-order page lists 3 September as the release date for Donda. The two rappers have had a few digs at each other in recent weeks after Drake mentioned him in his verse on Trippie Redd's "Betrayal" track. Ye then shared a screenshot of a group chat (potentially with Drake in it), where he sent a picture of the Joker and promised to Drake: "You will never recover". Kanye West also reportedly leaked Drake's home address for a very short time on socials.
