Is Madonna teasing her next album?
Madonna has been throwing a few cryptic messages out recently, hinting that her new album could be on the way.
Madonna hasn't released new music since 2015's Rebel Heart, but yesterday she uploaded a series of images to her Instagram that make up a huge red "X" across 12 tiles.
Over the weekend Page Six reported that the Mayor of Sintra, in Portugal, turned down her request to bring a horse into a 19th century palace for her new music video.
The iconic singer hasn't been shy with dropping teasers hinting at new music, having shared a series of cryptic posts last month, including an image of her cutting an apple wearing a red glove with the hashtags "#music" and "#magic", and a clip of some choreography in a green screen studio.

Before Christmas Mykki Blanco also teased fans with a potential Madonna collaboration still to be released.
In an interview with Vogue Italia last summer, Madonna revealed that her new album was expected to arrive by the end of 2018.
