
Is Allie X going to officially announce her new album today?
Allie X dropped a teaser for her forthcoming Cape God album yesterday (15 December), meaning she could be announcing the release date today.
The Canadian singer/songwriter has shared a stream of singles over the past few months, including "Regulars", "Rings A Bell", "Fresh Laundry", and Troye Sivan collaboration "Love Me Wrong".
Fans have known for a while now that Allie X's next album will likely be called Cape God, and yesterday (15 December), Allie X posted a clip to Instagram with the caption, "while in cape god, you are in limbo. you stay there until you die or come to life. and while you are there you are somewhere in between… check back tomorrow."

Cape God will follow on from Allie X's 2018 album Super Sunset.
