Speaking about the upcoming record, frontman Paul Banks explained, "This record is where I feel touching on real things that have happened to me are exciting and evocative to write about,” he explains. “I think in the past, I always felt autobiography was too small a thing for me to reference. I feel like now, I’m able to romanticize parts of my own life.”
Alongside details of the new album, Interpol have revealed their lead track "The Rover".
News of their sixth album is being discussed live right now through a Q+A over on our Facebook.
Interpol have also announced a global tour, and perform at London's Barclaycard British Summer Time 2018 on 7 July.
