In The Woods 2016 reveals innovative promo video featuring Glass Animals and Tei Shi
In The Woods festival is back this year, revitalised after a fallow year, and we're premiering the 2016 promo vid.
This year's visuals feature "Holiest" by Glass Animals and Tei Shi, and see some of the festival's most iconic images transformed into surreal digital manifestations.
The video's blurb provides some info on how the innovative clip was created: "Christopher Watson-Wood (Creative Director of Mad Ruffian), has created this visual effects promo for the In The Woods music festival. The promo comprises the best photos from the festival from 2012 - 2014 (taken by Chris and photographer, Tony Jupp) and Chris and the other Ruffians have taken these simple photos and created an entire 3D world from them by meticulously modelling the objects in CG and then projection mapping and digitally painting the images back over them."
In The Woods is celebrating its 10th year this year, and is co-directed by Charlie Andrew, winner of this year’s BRIT Award for Best Producer. The festival's line up is still under lock and key until just before the festival, but head to their website to get a feeling for who's performed in the past.
Tickets will be on general sale on 8 May, with adult tickets priced at £125 (including fees and parking), with pre-release tickets available to the fest's mailing list on 17 April.
In The Woods 2016 takes place 2-4 September in a secret woodland location an hour's drive from London in Kent.
