IDLES played a livestreamed show at Abbey Road Studios over the weekend, which saw the band perform an unreleased Ultra Mono track and a cover of The Beatles' "Helter Skelter".
Ahead of IDLES releasing their highly-anticipated third album Ultra Mono next month, the band have performed a livestreamed show at London's Abbey Road Studios.
The Abbey Road show aired at three times on Saturday (August 29) and Sunday (August 30), and saw IDLES perform a new track and a Beatles cover.
IDLES gave a debut performance of unreleased Ultra Mono track "Kill Them With Kindness", as well as performing covers of The Beatles' "Helter Skelter" and The Strokes' "Reptilia".
So far IDLES have released four singles from their forthcoming LP - "Model Village", "A Hymn", "Grounds" and "Mr. Motivator".
Ultra Mono will follow on from IDLES' 2019's Mercury Prize-nominated album Joy as an Act of Resistence.
The band recorded the new album in Paris with producers Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire) and Adam 'Atom' Greenspan (Anna Calvi, Cut Copy). Kenny Beats (FKA Twigs, DaBaby, Vince Staples) provided additional programming, and the album features a collaboration with Savages' Jehnny Beth.
