IDER, Kam-BU and more join Black Country, New Road at Climate Music Blowout
Climate Music Blowout, the day long event at EartH in East London this Sunday has revealed the special guests joining Black Country, New Road, Porridge Radio, Skinny Pelembe, and Steam Down for a night of unique sets and previously unheard material.
Taking to the stage for a one-off performance based around an improvisation game of the band’s design will be hotly tipped newcomers PVA and Léa Sen, rising London grime MC Kam-Bu, producer David Wrench, (known for his work with the likes of David Byrne, The xx, Frank Ocean and Young Fathers), Elsas, Ethan P Flynn, IDER and Max Winter.
The collaboration will close a special night of music in which Porridge Radio will reveal a covers set, Skinny Pelembe will add solo stylings, and Steam Down will bring the collective power that has been getting the likes of Giles Peterson and 6 Music so excited.
The gig follows an afternoon conference under the same heading at which leading UK music industry figures and artists will discuss how music can play a leading role in the response to the climate emergency.
