IDER drop first single of 2018 "You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead Of You Baby"
IDER, aka Megan Marwick and Lily Somerville, have made their first move of 2018 with new single "You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead Of You Baby".
Like a soothing lullaby, IDER pan out an honest and intimate reflection with their heavenly harmonies and subtle electronica.
Encapsulated in soft dream-pop, IDER unveil their new single after a successful 2017 that included singles "Body Love", "Learn To Let Go" and "Nevermind".
Produced by Rodaidh McDonald (Adele, Sampha and The xx), "You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead Of You Baby" is another snapshot into their tender tones and intimate instrumentals that drive their magical sound.
Speaking about their new track, Marwick and Somerville explained, ""You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead of You Baby" is a song about the anxieties that come with being in your twenties. It was inspired by conversations we’ve had and feelings shared amongst our friends. It’s about the irony of wishing you could act in the moment through hindsight - living life the way you think your future self would want you to.”
IDER performed a sold-out show at London's Rich Mix in March, and now the duo have revealed their biggest headline date so far, on 2 October at London's Village Underground. Find out more.
