Icona Pop, Tom Odell & more among MTV European Music Awards nominations
MTV European Music Awards, aka the MTV EMAs, have announced the shortlist for this year’s awards.
The annual ceremony will take place in Amsterdam this time round, held on 10 November. Among the acts up for awards are the usual types: Drake, Jay Z and Kanye West fighting it out for ‘Best Hip-Hop Artist’, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift competing for ‘Best Female’, and the like.
But most interesting is the ‘Best MTV Push Artist’ category, with relative newbies like Tom Odell, Icona Pop, Iggy Azalea, A$AP Rocky and Bastille all nominated.
