Icona Pop set to sell 100,000 copies of 'I Love It' this week

Despite having been around for over a year, Icona Pop‘s signature track and mega-hit ‘I Love It’ looks set to be this week’s UK Number 1 in the Singles Chart, shifting 100,000 copies in the process.
Music Week report that by the end of Thursday, the electro-pop pair had already selling 90,000 units – that’s 15,000 more than current top-spotter Robin Thicke.
The song, voted our Track of 2012, peaked at #2 in the group’s home country of Sweden, as well as reaching the top ten in the U.S, Germany and Canada, but has now only just been released as a single in the UK.
It will be the Swedish duo’s first ever number one if successful. Watch the video for the track below:
