Icona Pop announce London show, 'I Love It' set for official UK release
Best Fit favourites and makers of our favourite song of 2012, Icona Pop have just announced that they’re to return to London for the first time in nearly 12 months on March 20 with a show at Electrowerkz. It’ll be the girls’ first show in the UK since their sold out Best Fit performance at East London’s Electricity Showrooms back in May last year.
The new show coincides with an official UK release of ‘I Love It’ which, since its Swedish release last Spring, has been unstoppable in terms of chart success with Australia, France, Switzerland, Germany and Scandinavia all falling for its delightfully bratty sentiment. Its recent inclusion in the hit HBO show Girls also sparked off a buzz in the States, causing the track to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance Charts just a few weeks ago.
‘I Love It’ drops via Atlantic Records on 17 March. Tickets for the 20 March show at London’s Electrowerkz are on sale now via Gigs And Tours.
