Iceage announce new record Beyondless and share new single featuring Sky Ferreira
Danish punks Iceage have detailed their long-awaited new record Beyondless and shared fresh track "Pain Killer" - which features vocals from Sky Ferreira.
The track links up with last month's wild ride "Catch It" to preview Beyondless. Ferreira's appearance marks the first ever guest vocals on an Iceage song.
Beyondless, the follow up to 2014's Plowing Into The Field Of Love and their fourth in total, was produced with Nis Bysted and recorded totally analogly by Mattias Glavå at Kungsten Studios in Göteborg, Sweden. Additional contributions come from Nils Gröndhal (violin), Kasper Tranberg (trumpet), Lars Greve (saxophones), and Morten Jessen (trombone).
Although Iceage have kept on the down low for a while, frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt released two albums with other project Marching Church: This World Is Not Enough (2015) and Telling It Like It Is (2016).
Iceage are set to play two US residencies next month, then head to Japan and Europe afterwards. A full North American tour (including dates with Mary Lattimore) is taking place in the summer. Find out the band's full live plans.
