I Like Trains announce London headline show
I Like Trains have kept low key for some years now, but they've just announced a London headline show at Bush Hall next month.
The post-rock kings will be playing a Give A Gig charity show to support Youth Music on 12 September, with all proceeds being donated to the cause. Tickets are on sale now.
I Like Trains' David Martin says: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Give a Gig initiative. These are increasingly difficult times, and we strongly believe music can be a force for good. Since the '50s, music has afforded the youth a strong voice which has defined generations. Right now, it feels more important than ever that we ensure the next generation is heard above all the noise.”
I Like Trains will also be performing at Leeds' High & Lonesome Festival at the Brudenell Social Club on 19 November .
The group have been busy, despite not releasing anything for a while - they'll be releasing their documentary A Divorce Before Marriage via The Progress Film Company later this year. Its soundtrack will be available to pre-order soon.
But wait, there's more!
I Like Trains have also confirmed that they are working on their long-awaited fourth record.
