Hundred Waters return with eerily enchanting offering "Particle"
It’s been over three years since Hundred Waters released their last album The Moon Rang Like A Bell. Despite appearing briefly over the years, including a soundtrack for short film Ghosting, they finally see it fit to return in 2017.
Rightfully so, too, as the eerily enchanting trio fuse ominous beats and ethereal vocals, binding genres faultlessly. “Particle” sees frontwoman Nicole Miglis scale to the edge of the atmosphere with her heavenly tones.
The subtle futuristic beat adds an extra-terrestrial tension, almost as if you’re glimpsing a new world on the horizon. The bridge to the chorus is almost a certified club banger, only played down by the subtle synths to bring it back to Earth territory.
Hundred Waters are undoubtedly set on continuing their diligent journey to pursuing their near angelic sound, surrounding it with more extraordinary experimentation that burns bright against the stark vocals of frontwoman Miglis.
"Particle" sees Hundred Waters reflecting on their new path, one that was only found with profound change they have been experiencing. The faultless fusion is undoubtedly captivating, and a colourful insight into their galaxy.
