How to Dress Well shares new mix featuring Angel Olsen duet, Taking Back Sunday cover and previews of new material
How to Dress Well, the stage name for artist Tom Krell, has a new album out next month, titled What Is This Heart?, and he’s just shared a promotional mix, NO WORDS TO SAY: songs for “What is this Heart?”
Krell described the tracklist on his Tumblr:
songs that inspired the record, songs that resonate w me in the way the songs on “WITH?” resonate w you i hope.
tracklist = some meditative religious moments (tracy, JB, pure x, maxwell & sean, EN) + some pure-hearted pop moments (quan, EBTG, prince, ana caprix) = NO WORDS TO SAY
The 52-minute tracklist features previews of two What is this Heart? songs (“Precious Love” and “A Power”), as well as a “very unofficial duet edit” of Angel Olsen’s “Windows,” a cover of Taking Back Sunday’s “You Know How I Do Kinda,” and cuts from Beyoncé, Prince, Lou Reed, Future, Tracy Chapman and more. Check it out below.
