How To Dress Well samples hold music on new track "Precious Love"
A recent episode of much-loved podcast This American Life told the story of an old man attempting to find the hold music that he was hearing every week when phoning his health care. Having heard it so often, he fell deeply in love with the soothing jingle. Now, having most likely heard said radio show, How To Dress Well’s Tom Krell has sampled the song in one of his new tracks.
“Precious Love” features on Krell’s new album What Is This Heart? and includes a segment from “Opus No. 1”, originally composed by Tim Carleton and Darrick Deel back in 1989.
