Houses – Reds

We’ve not heard too much from Houses since last autumn when they released their glorious debut All Night through Lefse Records. Recorded in a remote cabin in Hawaii, it’s the sound of a couple breaking free from reality and just doing what comes natural. You can read an in depth conversation we had late last year that reveals the genesis of said record and a whole lot more.

In the meantime, check out the stunning new video for album highlight ‘Reds’. Directed by LAMAR+NIK, according to their notes the video was “filmed all practically, no CGI, in a normal two car garage for a little over $200 dollars. Ice sculptures were made using a series of handmade clay molds. Soldering irons were used for details. Lighting was solely provided by T.V.’s/Christmas Lights.”
