Hot Snakes tease new song ahead of first album since 2004
Hot Snakes have teased new music from their first album in nearly 15 years, which is pretty exciting.
The track is seemingly titled "Why Don't It Sink In?", and the band shared a clip on Facebook which you can check out below (or here):
The caption reads: "'Why Don't It Sink In?' Edit. NEW Hot Snakes LP, 2018 on Sub Pop Records. Swami John Reis made this clip as well as recorded the entire record on his phone."
Sub Pop is reissuing the first three Hot Snakes records this month, and Hot Snakes confirmed last summer that they were making a return in 2018.
The group, featuring John Reis and Rick Froberg (Drive Like Jehu, Pitchfork), released three records during their brief lifespan before splitting in 2005. 2011 saw a short live reunion, but this return will see the group releasing their first new music since 2004's Audit In Progress (not counting live LP Thunder Down Under which was released in 2006).
