Hot Chip tackle the Boss on new Dancing In The Dark EP
Hot Chip are to release a new EP called Dancing In The Dark, featuring their cover of Bruce Springsteen's anthemic single of the same name.
Their take of "Dancing In The Dark" has been given a few live airings, including at Glastonbury and Green Man, and at Webster Hall in NYC. The live footage in the single's new video was recorded at the New York show on Super 8, and features cameos from David Byrne and Sinkane.
Kieran Evans has directed the full visuals, which channel-hops between the aforementioned live footage, and crappy late-night TV from the '80s/'90s.
The EP also includes a Soulwax and a A/Jus/Ted remix of "Huarache Lights", and a RAK Studios version of "Cry For You".
The Dancing In The Dark EP is out 23 October via Domino. The band's Definitive Edition of latest LP Why Make Sense? (which features the new EP plus their Separate EP) is out on the same day.
