Hot Chip and Peter Bjorn & John feature on new Franz Ferdinand album
Franz Ferdinand are releasing new album their first album in four years, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, on 26 August, with it revealed today that it’ll feature a handful of collaborations – including one with Hot Chip.
Alongside Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, Rights Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action also sees the band working with Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn & John and disco DJ Todd Terje. Domino Records man Bart McDonagh told Music Week that the album contain the band’s “strongest lyrics yet” as well as some “pretty incredible” tunes.
Meanwhile, Franz Ferdinand are playing an intimate gig in London tonight at the Dalston Victoria pub. Tickets will be available on the door only.
