Hope Tala shares Paul Epworth-produced new single "Mad"
West London's Hope Tala is back with her first outing of the year, "Mad", features production from Grammy winner Paul Epworth.
"Mad", which arrives after Hope Tala's Girl Eats Sun project in October last year, is accompanied by a Milicent Hailes-directed video, and is produced by seven-time Grammy award winner Paul Epworth.
Speaking about the new release, Hope Tala says, "I wrote "Mad" about having feelings of frustration and hysteria in a long-distance relationship. It’s about being unable to communicate properly, and feeling lost in loneliness - so it’s ironic that I wrote most of the song a week or two before the first lockdown started in the UK. Foreshadowing, almost."
