Hope Tala returns with first single of 2022 "Party Sickness"
Hope Tala is back with new single "Party Sickness", marking her first new material of 2022.
"Party Sickness" follows Hope Tala's "Tiptoeing" single from October 2021, and arrives with a Loris Russier-directed video.
"The concept of "Party Sickness" is all about having fun and being a bit messy," Hope Tala explains. "A big part of my inspiration for the song was an astrology meme that categorised the different elements into their behavioural roles at parties; it said water signs were the best leading actors in a drama (I’m a Scorpio.) I wanted it to be an anthem for people who consider themselves to be the life and soul of the party."
She's yet to follow up her 2020 project Girl Eats Sun.
