Tallinn-based band Holy Motors have announced their sophomore album Horse, alongside sharing the opening single "Country Church".
"Country Church" is the first release from the Estonian group since their 2018 debut LP Slow Sundown.
Guitarist and songwriter Lauri Raus says of "Country Church", "It’s an honest one. Dealing with a failing romantic relationship and how low that gets you. Maybe that’s the whole reason as to why it came out in country-style guitar little bit. Because country music is just three chords and the truth, right?"
Tracklist:
- Country Church
- Endless Night
- Midnight Cowboy
- Road Stars
- Matador
- Come On, Slowly
- Trouble
- Life Valley (So Many Miles Away)
"Country Church" is out now. Holy Motors' Horse album is due for release on 16 October via Wharf Cat Records, and is available to pre-order now.
