HMV sack CEO and 59 others

Financially-stricken music chain, HMV have cut another 60 jobs – including its very own CEO.

Trevor Moore, who had only been in the job six months after transferring from fellow cashless company Jessops, is among those to follow the 930 announced earlier this week out the door.

Earlier today, it was announced that HMV’s administrators are considering bids of up to £9 million for its flagship store in Oxford Street.

MCV report that other casualties include marketing director Mark Hodgkinson. They say that the company only has a “skeleton crew” left at the helm.
