Hiss Golden Messenger releases new cut "Glory Strums (Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner)"
Hiss Golden Messenger has shared "Glory Strums (Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner)" as a third preview of his upcoming album Quietly Blowing It.
After releasing "Hardlytown" in April and the album's lead single "If It Comes in the Morning" in March, Hiss Golden Messenger has unveiled "Glory Strums (Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner)" as the third outing.
Lead vocalist and songwriter M.C. Taylor says of the new song, ""Glory Strums" was written in the chaotic green spring of 2020 as a hymn to finding the places and spaces that make us human."
Quietly Blowing It, which will follow their Grammy-nominated 2019 album Terms Of Surrender, was written, arranged, and produced by MC Taylor, who says the album "feels like the most personal album that I’ve made because I’m not trying to explain anything to anyone except myself."
