Last week we reported that His Clancyness are among the last editions to be confirmed for ATP’s final year of festivals, and now the solo project-turned-band have unveiled a video to accompany ’Safe Around The Edges’, the lead single from their debut Vicious LP.
Featuring frenetic tapping, rolling around the carpet and busy florals that dissolve into the upholstery, the paranoid Giulia Mazza-directed visuals certainly lend themselves to lyrics that urge, “move towards the edge to feel more safe”, before reaching a creepily deadpan, candlelit conclusion.
Check out the video below, premiered here at Best Fit.
Both ‘Safe Around The Edges’ and Vicious are out now.
