New South Wales hip-hop duo, Hermitude have picked up this year’s Australian Music Prize.
The pair, Luke Dubber (aka Luke Dubs) and Angus Stuart (aka Elgusto), beat the likes of Flume and Tame Impala to the annual accolade.
Hermitude won the award, much like Britain’s Mercury Prize, for their fourth album HyperParadise.
The other shortlisted acts include The Presets, Grand Salvo, Jess Ribeiro & The Bone Collectors, Liz Stringer, Daily Meds and Urthboy.
