Hinds and The Parrots fire off double video for their Thee Headcoats and Almighty Defenders covers
Spanish stars Hinds and The Parrots have shared a double video for their recent covers of Thee Headcoats "Davey Crockett" and The Almighty Defenders' “All My Loving”.
They've also announced a new U.K. tour.
CANADA has produced the video while Marc Oller has taken directing duties. It follows both acts partying hard all night, drinking, skating, and generally being young and carefree, and then the hedonistic hangover that follows.
Speaking to Pitchfork, the artists say: "we are 7 dudes born and raised in madrid and we've been friends since ever; we've lived from our puberty years to currently issues like not having money to pay the rent or recoding our firsts albums. we did a split 7'' vinyl with two covers of songs we both usually end our gigs with because we love them. so suddenly the idea of shooting a movie with CANADA (our music-videos-educator) was kind of a dream. plus, this one is the first not-home-made-music-video for both bands. Felt great. But keep the budget low."
Hinds' debut album Leave Us Alone is out via Lucky Number on 8 January 2016. You can pre-order it now. Diego García - who is in The Parrots - has produced the album.
