Her's announce debut album and share new track "Low Beam"
The chillwave/slacker rock duo Her's have announced their debut album Invitation To Her's, as well as sharing new single "Low Beam"
Continuing their contagious slacker sound, Liverpool's Her's have revealed news of their debut album Invitation To Her's to come later this summer.
"Low Beam" is the second track lifted from their upcoming project, following on from ‘Love On The Line (Call Now)’ that was revealed in early April.
Speaking about the new track, the duo explained, "Low Beam is our foray into rock ’n roll sleaze core, pop out your leather jacket, grease your hair and cruise around town at night, whilst not forgetting to remain the emotional being that you are. Let’s meet on the hill top and cry together."
News of their debut album Invitation To Her's follows on from their 2017 nine track compilation, Songs Of Her’s.
Audun Laading and Stephen Fitzpatrick, who make up the duo, detailed their new album further, "For the recording on this new album we travelled back to our old stomping ground in the suburbs of Liverpool, and basically moved in with our producer Saam, his girlfriend Charlotte and their house mate Emilie. The location’s been upgraded though as they’ve moved a couple street parallel, featuring a sweet couch to sleep on when you’re not playing and a grumpy cat for company. How the neighbours miraculously survived listening to the same bunch of songs for 4 months is beyond us, so a special shout out to them!"
