Hear two new songs Sigur Rós wrote for Black Mirror
Two songs Sigur Rós contributed to Black Mirror episode "Hang The DJ" are now streaming online for everyone to hear.
"Match" (above) and "End" (below) are part of the Alex Somers soundtrack for the episode, which you can listen to now on Spotify.
Somers and partner Jónsi (Sigur Rós' frontman) have collaborated a bunch in the past, with the pair teaming up to score Aloha in 2015 and release their Riceboy Sleeps LP in 2009. Jónsi also jumped on the soundtrack for Captain Fantastic by Somers in 2016.
Sigur Rós are rumoured to be working on a "happy" new album for this year, the long-awaited follow up to 2013's Kveikur. A new full-length from the threesome would follow 2016's ambitious Route One project, standalone single "Óveður", and a fresh mix of "Hoppípolla" for BBC documentary series Planet Earth II.
